Funded by Veezu Sponsor Alder Hey's Children's Charity Christmas Concert

Britannia Taxis, one of Liverpool’s leading private hire operators, has partnered with Alder Hey Children’s Charity this festive season, by sponsoring their Jolly Oli Christmas Concert.

Jolly Oli, which took place on December 12, is Alder Hey’s most festive event of the year, welcoming choirs from across the community to spread festive cheer and raise money. Alder Hey Children’s Charity raises vital funds for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital which looks after 330,000 patients and families every year. Since their inception, they have raised £74 million, providing a range of life-saving medical equipment and facilities that are making a real difference every day. The charity event took place on December 12 (Image: Matt Thomas) Alongside sponsoring a choir at the event, a team of staff from Britannia - a regional hub of one of the UK’s fastest-growing private hire technology platforms Veezu - volunteered at the service and took a tour of the hospital to understand the benefits of their donation. Sarah Johnson, community fundraiser at Alder Hey said: “The Christmas period is one of the most important times in making a young person’s hospital stay the best it can be. “We are very grateful to Britannia for their support in sponsoring and volunteering at the event.
