Charity Football Match at Bramall Lane Raises £1,040 for The Sheffield 1000

In a thrilling display of football and community spirit, Hallam FC, over 45s who represented Veezu, faced Casablanca FC at Bramall Lane on the bank holiday weekend.

The match kicked off at noon and successfully raised £1,040 for Dan Walker's The Sheffield 1000 Charity.

Dan Walker, founder of The Sheffield 1000, expressed his heartfelt gratitude: "I want to say a massive thank you to everyone who gave up their time to play football on the Bank Holiday. Special thanks to the officials, referee Tom Barney and assistants Lee Kendrick and Tom Holloway for donating their time and expertise free of charge.

This match was all in the name of a brilliant charity, supporting other charities and great causes across the wonder city of Sheffield. Thank you."
