Veezu Teams Up with Cash for Kids to Bring Christmas Cheer to Disadvantaged Children

Veezu is partnering with Hallam FM's Cash for Kids for the second consecutive year, in support of the charity's annual Christmas appeal, Mission Christmas.

Branded the biggest Christmas gift appeal in the UK, Mission Christmas facilitates the collection and distribution of gifts, ensuring disadvantaged children have something to open on Christmas morning. Last year, Mission Christmas raised over £14 million in gifts and donations, meaning 286,000 children woke up to a Christmas present.

The Veezu office in Chesterfield is a drop-off point for donations and the team will also be volunteering as elves to sort toys and gifts in the Mission Christmas warehouse.

The Sheffield Steelers are also supporting Mission Christmas with their 2023 Teddy Bear Toss on Saturday 16th December at Utilita Arena.

The much-loved annual tradition will see fans throwing thousands of teddy bears and soft toys onto the ice rink to be donated to Mission Christmas.

As an official partner of the campaign, Veezu will be collecting the donated teddies and transporting them to Mission Christmas HQ in their electric cars, ready to be distributed to children who need them them most.
